Dove Stone Delight
Date & Time: 07/04/2020 – Meet at 19:00 for a 19:15 start. This is a staggered start so be there in time for your start!
Location: Meet at Tanners Mill car park.
Route:
Start just through the gates on the road up to Dove Stone. Go up the road to the Dove Stone car park and continue ahead on the road past the sailing club, through the gate and across the bridge over Chew Brook. Turn LEFT over wooden bridge and continue on track around Dove Stone Reservoir.
At the approach to Yeoman Hey Reservoir Dam bear right at bench on narrow path beside reservoir to the concrete bridge below Greenfield Reservoir Dam. Left across the brudge and left to return on the track alongside the reservoir to the waterworks road at the Yeoman Hey Dam.
Up the road for 30m, then turn left through the gate and follow track around Dove Stone Reservoir to cross the dam. Go to the car park end of the dam, through the gateway around the small copse of trees and retrace the first 1.5km back to finish at the start line.
