START TIME

All Runners: Registrations opens at 12:00 o’clock (midday) at the Cross Keys Inn. The race starts at 13:00 o’clock.

LOCATION

Cross Keys Inn, Pobgreen, OL3 6LW. Please do not park in the pub car park.

Category rules

Men Open - 2 male road & 2 male fell (all 18+)
Women Open - 2 female road and 2 female fell (all 18+)
Mixed - 1 female road, 1 female fell, 1 male road, 1 male fell (all 18+)
Men Vets - 2 male road & 2 male fell (all 40+)
Women Vets - 2 female road and 2 female fell (all 40+)
Juniors - 2 road and 2 fell (any sex but age 16 or 17 only)
Any combination (no prize) - any combination (all 16+)

Under 18’s must present a form signed by their parent / guardian.

KIT REQUIREMENT

Road leg: No kit required
Fell leg: Be prepared to carry full body cover in bad weather. Kit check at the start.

ROUTE DESCRIPTION

Road leg (2 laps): 3 m 650 ft. 
Fell leg: 2.5 m 800 ft

A unique event where teams of four runners contest a relay over two road legs of 3 miles and two fell legs of 2.5 miles. This format was originally designed to bring road and fell runners together in an event where they could appreciate each others skills and meet for a pint afterwards. Still one of the best days in the calendar and the sun always seems to shine. Road legs are two laps of a hilly circuit. Fell leg is a single lap of an undulating course over Saddleworth Moor.
