LONDON MARATHON GUIDANCE 

Here are the rules that apply for the London Marathon Ballot:

1. The rejection E-mail from London Marathon required.

2. You can only win the ballot once every 5 years.

3. Be a fully paid up member of the club at the time of the ballot and the race.

4. Saddleworth Runners First Claim Member.

5. Please only enter if you are fully committed to be able to run in the following years London Marathon. One of the reasons TCS London Marathon gives for having reduced the number of places allocated to clubs, is that these were often being referred, or not used at all. (of course this can often not be helped, but every reasonable effort should be made to avoid deferring your place).

Selection will be drawn at random using the following preference matrix.

1. First preference draw will be from all members who satisfy the above and who are members of England Athletics.

2. Second preference draw will be from all From non EA members who satisfy the above, if no EA members want to apply or EA members have been discounted using rules 1-5 above.
