ROUTE DESCRIPTION
BS Fell Race. 10 km / 6.2 miles, 400 m / 1 312 ft
Race in the Peak District on the hills looking down on Manchester. A good introduction to fell running. Fully flagged and marshalled on paths with one steep climb to keep you interested.
Entry fee includes chip butties at the finish.
Race Information
The race head quarters is at the Cross Keys pub, Uppermill. On arrival, please, park carefully on Church Road or Church Lane (not in the pub car park). You can then proceed to picking up your timing device and number.
The race start is 10 minutes walk from the pub, so leave some time to get there.
The route will be flagged with marshal points. If you retire or need assistance speak to a marshal. If you retire you must also report to HQ and bring your timing devise back.
Chips will be served from 12:15 or there abouts – price is included in your entry free. You will need to buy your own beer.

KIT REQUIREMENT
Waterproof top (with hood), taped seams. Water and food at runners discretion. You must also carry a fully charged mobile phone. It is unlikely that other kit will be required. Checks will be carried out.
Kit requirements will be advised on the day.
