Become a Coach
Interested in giving something back to the club and becoming a coach?
The club is committed to offering a wide range of training options to its members whether that be in the form of the juniors, the fell development group, the beginners, womens training or the regular Tuesday night training sessions. In order to do so we are always looking for willing and able volunteers to help run these sessions, of course this also requires a number of qualified coaches and to help achieve this the club is committed to supporting its coach development and is willing to fund 50% of coaching course fees. As you may appreciate if the club helps fund your course, we will of course expect a certain commitment to help out with future coaching within the club.
If you would like to apply for funding from the club please download the coaching form below and pass on to Stuart Hutchison so that your application can be reviewed by the committee.
A list of up and coming coaching courses are regularly posted on the FRA webpage.
Note: if a number of applications are received at once the committee may need to stagger the distribution of funding, although we don’t see this being a problem.
