Winter Training Target
For those of you like me who run better if a target is in sight, then why not take a look at the Central Lancashire 1/2M on Sunday 3rd Jan 2010.

Believe it or not it is only 12 weeks away, which is just long enough to start getting some quality training in over the next few dark months. Some of our Tuesday speed sessions will take in some of this training.
I have enclosed a link to a 1/2M training site
http://www.halhigdon.com/halfmarathon/ and it would be good to have a few people enter, set some goals and even share some training together...and yes I know it's not cheap to enter (road races never are) and there is probably a lovely fell race on the same day, but variety as they say is the spice of life!!
Anyone else interested?

It's A Deal
If you can swing one of the club London Marathon places for me then it will be a perfect build-up race. If not I'll just use it to blow some new year cobwebs off.

The Ballott Box will decide
Assuming we get any London places, you will of course be in the draw as a rejectee.
As for a target time, I would think 1h 35mins is well within your spectrum...

oh, go on then Howard; I loves a bit of tarmac!
Your Target
Great Rubes,
I'd look at the Intermediate http://www.halhigdon.com/halfmarathon/inter.htm log and we will set you a goal of 1h 50mins
