Nicky Torr saw off her closest rival in emphatic fashion at the Last Gasp Club Handicap Race tonight to become overall Handicap Champion. Needing to finish within a few places of Dominic, Nicky not only stayed ahead but was also first back on the night. Because of the Handicap stagger, another Nicky (Snook) claimed the 50 points, with Mike Elwell returning to some kind of form in second.

Fastest time on the night was last man off Adam Gouldsworthy in 41.33, while Claire was fastest lady in 45.46, though quite where Gaynor went is anyones guess, there is a rumour she was seen heading towards Stalybridge!!

Many thanks to Mike and Dee for all thier efforts this year making for a very competitive series.

I'd heard 'staly vagas' was a good venue for a night out so decided that last night was as good as any to check it out..
