Shoe repairs-recommendation

This may or may not be well known on the circuit, but I have used the services of an excellent cobbler in Todmorden this week. He has re-stuck the sole on my beloved NB RX Terrain fell shoes. They had developed an unwanted airgap between upper and lower shoe, the repair of which was more technical than a bit of "I can't believe it's not nails".
I've now left him my Inov8 Roclite on which 3 of the lace loops had worn through, hopefully I will get them back with some shiny new D-Rings on thereby extending their life considerably. He is based opposite the market sq. on the block behind the Halifax Rd out of Tod. He has plenty of pairs of Walsh's on his shelves and seemed familiar with the various legs of the Calderdale relay, informing me that Leg 3 was a "right bastard" I have to agree it was a bit hilly at the start !

Anyway, he goes by the slogan "Shoes worth wearing are worth repairing" and comes highly recommended. Make-do and mend innit ! MB
