Secure payment for entry can be completed online. On the day of the event the team captain or first leg runners should inform us at registration of any team changes. This can be done on the printout provided by the organisers of runners previously declared online. Only the first leg runners or Team Captain need to report to registration at the event centre.
Numbers. Will be sent out to the team Captain to distribute. We advise teams to obtain The Harveys map of the Pennine Bridleway South which includes the Mary Towneley Loop. This map is easier to follow than the O.S. map and is easier to photocopy the individual legs.See the links page on this site on how to obtain this map.Runners should carry this map (1 each ) or a photocopy of their leg. Written route descriptions of the individual legs and the OS map of each leg are now available to download from the Route Description page on this site.
Event rules. It the responsibility of the team captain to ensure that all numbers are distributed and that his/her team are fully aware of the event details and race rules. This must be confirmed in writing on the form supplied
Parking at leg changeover points. The position of each of the leg changeover points has been determined primarily by the availability of parking space.
This may still be a problem and we would ask clubs to car share as much as possible.See the Leg changeovers page for details of parking.
The route. The route is definitive and there is no route choice ! Whilst the route is fully waymarked prior knowledge of the route would provide considerable advantage and route reconnoitre is strongly advised. Some waymarking signs could be easily missed during the race!
Sportident timing system. See separate form with details of the timing system.
