Penmaenmawr Update
The Penmaenmawr Fell Race has become somewhat of an SRC 'classic' over the last 20 years or so. This little visited range of hills on the North Welsh coast offer some fantastic running in beautiful countryside. This year of course this is a Club Championship and we are hoping for a good turnout of Sadd's. As in the past we have taken the entering of this race light-heartedly and this year you are encouraged to enter as a newsreader or TV Presenter, we have already had a few entries:

The race itself is more or less a big cross country race after the initial climb and at 11m and only 1500' climb is always a quick one. The final descent is a real treat offering those who can descend at pace making a great spectator attraction.
For those who want to make a weekend out of it, Mark Brakspear is offering up accommodation to anyone (not just boys) in Abersoch. This weekend comes free with beach football and a trip into the local fleshpots!
For those wanting to 'there and back' it only takes around 1 hour 30 mins, so less than going to the Lakes!
It would be great to have a good number there as usual, always great fun at what can be a grey time of year. H
