Free Fell Coaching - Round 2!

Hi Everyone,

Following on from the sessions I put on last year I am now looking to arrange a follow up set of sessions, following which I will have a practical assesment and all being well I will (fingers crossed) gain my qualification.

My assesment has unfortunately been arranged at rather short notice and therefore I need to get some sessions in over the next couple of weeks. Howard has kindly agreed to let me lead tonights training session (I'll be nice to you all if you're nice to me!) and after that I am going to put on some sessions on the following dates:

- Thursday the 5th, 7:30pm at Churchill
- Sunday the 8th, 9:00am at Dovestones (after the juniors)
- Thursday the 12th, 7:30pm at Churchill

The Thursday sessions will follow on from my previous sessions looking at aspects of fitness and strength required for fell running and the Sunday session at Dovestones will allow us to get off road and look at some of the skills required for off road running and racing, as well as giving us a bit of a run out. Obviously everyone is more than welcome and your attendance would be much appreciated!

Once qualified I will get my head together with Colin and Howard and have a think about what coaching I might be able to get involved in over the coming year. Suggestions for what people would like out of the coaching offered would be much appreciated but my current thinking is that it would be good to pick a couple mutual targets that as a club we could work towards.

Thanks again for all your support at this stage, I'm hoping that once qualified I willl be able to give something back to the club!

Cheers,
Stuart.
