Tuesday Nights

A great turnout of 21 runners took part in this years downhill Time Trial from Foxstone to the little bridge over Dovestones. Current Club Handicap Champion Nathan held off a strong challenge from Dan and Lee to win in 3m 27s. Impressive until you know that the record stands at 2m 50s by Colin.

Hey isn't there an MV45 category here? I've never been first in anything! But also never been as high as second, so that will have to keep Grace proud of her dad :-) Congrats Nathan, and watch out next year Colin...

Down hill fast???

Dan, there are not many who want to be known for going down hill fast!! Well Done though.

As the name suggest, this was only a trial, a 'fastset lap' if you like. My suggestion is we have a re-run of the race later in the Summer but run in pairs like they do at a Grand Prix. That being the case you have won a place on the front row of the starting grid!!
