Dark Night Tuesday Training
Within the next few short weeks, we will be in a position were running on the hills without a head-torch will become tough to say the least. The move to start training runs at the Cross Keys in the summer was brought in to get more people to the pub afterwards, and this has certainly worked. But winter Tuesday night training from the Cross Keys means that we will be very limited to the road routes than we would be being at the changing rooms in Greenfield.
My own view is to revert back to the Churchill Playing Fields in September and start our road Speed and Hill sessions in earnest.
Any other thoughts? What about the Gentleman Joggers? do you have a preference to start/end point to your runs, or are you just happy still being able to shuffle along and chat?

Tuesdays
I am happy to be back at Greenfield for the dark nights.
I will be leading the Gentlemen Joggers for the ones who don't want Howards easier options!

Easier Option
Tony,
I'll get some speed work done first and build up my confidence before I venture out with you big boys.

Tuesday Nights
Looking forward to getting back to it. Knee deep in nappies for long enough now.
Tuesday nights
I agree that Churchill opens up more possibilities for dark nights and that it would be a good idea to move back there for this period.

Sooner rather than later
I think we should go back to Churchill from next week as it will be getting dark soon after eight next week and 7 o'clock by the 21st September.
Stake in the Ground I
Ok, it makes sense to have Tuesday the 8th as our first Stake in the Ground of the Winter session. A timed one lap of the Saddleworth 6 route.
