Club Kit

Apart from our Club Vest and the odd race T-Shirt we have little in the way of Club Kit. Looking around at races, it's good to see other Clubs in their matching fleeces or jackets. Is there any interest in looking at some club Livery? if so what are people after and how much do people want to pay? Revamp?

How about a revamp of the existing club vest? Compared with other clubs its a bit dull, sorry if that causes anyone any offence.

At the other club I go to they have just introduced a hooded fleece as a throwover for after a race which has proved really popular with both the men and women members.

Light weight Fleece ?

I think that's a good idea.

I would like to see a navy light weight fleece with an embroidered motif. Suitable to wear to keep warm before races or to take on an MM. Hoodie? Too much material.

also Martyn mentioned a neck 'buff' sometime back which is a good bit of kit to keep the chill off. I'm not saying snood though.

A body bubble

I thought perhaps a big body bubble, similar to a diving suit but spacious and made of a futuristic gortex material that breathes on its own with a built in skin sensitive heat detector and attaching thermostat for body temperature control. Red and blue of course - but more than that - with an aerodynamic surface and attached “inflatable cord” that if pulled could digest air thus making us into a ball on the down hill sections…
