IMPORTANT INFORMATION!
ROUTE CHANGE
Permission from the landowners to use the original route of the Chew Valley Skyline Fell Race between the Ashway Stone CP to Chew Reservoir has now been withdrawn as of 16th February 2010. The original route generally followed the line of the "public footpath" marked on the appropriate map across Dove Stone Moss & Dish Stone Moss.

The race will now be routed from the Ashway Stone CP to an additional checkpoint at Fox Stone Cairn (025037). The route choice between Ashway Stone & Fox Stone Cairn will be optional. From Fox Stone Cairn the route will follow the edge path to Chew Reservoir. The revised route will add 700 metres to the total length of the race.

Modified Skyline route over rough & exposed moorland. Over 18 only and navigational skills required.
Full FRA fell race safety requirements will apply. Limited to 250 Runners – Full kit check at start.
Entry fee of £7 includes hot food & drink

Route

There are questions on the FRA forum about the route. Is the route unchanged from previous years?

Edited: Just found that the checkpoints are on the entry form
